How to Use

  1. Create two loops in the leash.
  2. Slip the loop closest to the handle over your dog’s head.
  3. Place the second loop gently over your dog’s nose — resting comfortably, never tight.
  4. Adjust the fit high on the neck (at ear level) using the tri-glide.
  5. Ensure a snug but comfortable fit — you should be able to fit one finger underneath.
  6. Attach the included safety leash to your dog’s regular collar.
  7. You’re ready to walk — calmly, confidently, and without being pulled.

Important Tip for First Use

Introduce the leash gradually in a calm, familiar environment.

  • Let your dog sniff the leash and reward curiosity.
  • Encourage your dog to place their nose through the loop using treats — cooperation is key.
  • Place the larger loop around the neck and reward.
  • Once comfortable, fit both loops and adjust gently, rewarding calm behaviour.
  • Start with short, relaxed walks at home or in the garden before heading out.
  • Every dog adjusts at their own pace — some may move through these steps quickly, while others need a little more time and repetition, and that’s perfectly normal.

It’s normal for dogs to paw at the nose loop at first. If this happens, gently redirect and continue walking with a neutral tone — offering reassurance without reinforcing the behaviour.
